How we check

The prices on this site are not just eBay search results. For each product we do the following:

  1. Collect. We collect eBay UK fixed-price listings through eBay's own listing data, including every option inside multi-option listings.
  2. Read. A language model (an AI) reads each listing's title, option details and description and writes down the size, the pack quantity and the type (for example single or double wall). Where a listing's options contradict its title, the option wins.
  3. Group. Items are grouped into sizes that several sellers actually list, so we compare like with like.
  4. Calculate. Price per unit = (item price + delivery) ÷ the quantity you get.
  5. Check. The cheapest offers in each group are checked again against their own listing text by a second automatic pass (the padded-bags page had one pass; boxes and bubble wrap had two). Anything out of stock, unclear or inconsistent is dropped.
  6. Read one by one. Prices that look suspiciously low are read individually, listing by listing, with the help of an AI assistant. If one cannot be confirmed, it is left out and shown in a “left out” table.

Limits. Automatic checks are not perfect, listings can be wrong, and prices change after we collect them. Always confirm on eBay before you buy. If you spot an error, tell us.

Links to eBay on this site may become affiliate links. If they do, we will say so here and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Prices are taken from eBay UK listings on the date shown on each page and can change; always confirm the price on eBay before buying. Not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
