A 24 inch wide roll is the common wide roll for bigger items such as lamps, monitors, framed art and small furniture, and for lining larger boxes.
Each foot of a 24 inch roll gives 2 square feet of wrap, so a 100 ft roll covers 200 sq ft. We price everything per square foot, delivered, which lets you compare a short roll with a long one fairly.
Longer rolls cost much less per square foot. The best price for 1 roll × 350 ft is 4.5¢ per sq ft, while the best roll of 50 ft or less (1 roll × 35 ft, $14.48 delivered) works out at 20.7¢ per sq ft. If you only need a little, the short roll still costs less in total.
Small 3/16" bubble is the usual choice for wrapping and surface protection; large 1/2" bubble cushions heavier or more fragile items but takes more room in the box.
