Compare the delivered price per mailer for bubble mailers on eBay US, by size and pack. The cheapest we found is 6.0¢ each (size #000, 500 kraft paper mailers for $30.20 delivered). For a typical pack of 100, prices run from 15.3¢ to 55.0¢ each depending on the size. Every price is the lowest offer that was checked against its own listing. Bubble mailers are sold by a number code, from #000 (the smallest, 4×8 inches) up to #7 (14¼×20 inches). The number is a trade size, not an exact measurement, so sellers' dimensions vary by up to half an inch. Pick the size by the outside measurement and leave about half an inch of room inside.
Pack size changes the price per mailer more than anything else: a pack of 10 can cost four or five times as much per mailer as a pack of 250. If you ship regularly, buy the biggest pack you will use in a few months. Poly mailers are the cheaper everyday choice; kraft paper ones cost a little more and recycle with paper.
